During the manufacturing process of shelves, the surface spray coating of warehouse shelves refers to using solid powder coatings instead of liquid solvent-based coatings. The powder coatings are negatively charged by high voltage and then adsorbed onto the surface of the grounded workpiece by means of electrostatic attraction. After being heated and melted (or cured), a coating film is obtained. Electrostatic spray coating is a new process. The electrostatic spraying of powder coatings on warehouse shelves is called spray coating. Its principle is to make the powder coatings adhere to the workpiece by utilizing the corona discharge phenomenon. In the spray coating process of warehouse shelves, the powder coatings are sent into the spray gun by the powder supply system with the help of compressed air. High voltage generated by a high-voltage electrostatic generator is added at the front end of the spray gun. Due to corona discharge, dense electric charges are generated nearby. When the powder is sprayed out from the nozzle of the gun, it forms charged coating particles. Under the action of electrostatic force, these particles are attracted to the workpiece with the opposite polarity. As more powder is sprayed on, more electric charges accumulate. When a certain thickness is reached, due to the electrostatic repulsion effect, the powder will no longer be adsorbed, so that the entire workpiece obtains a powder coating with a certain thickness. Then, through high temperature, the powder is melted, leveled, and cured, and a hard coating film is formed on the surface of the workpiece.
